Atomik nitrous 140 review

Hey all im new to the mini bike scene n am keen on the atomik 140 nitrous. just want a bike for bashing around on a track. any help'd be great :thumbup:

well u could get a nitrous 160 add a 26mm oko and if u have a bit left ova a set of protapers and trust me u will want the extra power of the 160

First thing you do to the engine is drop the shipping oil and put in some new stuff:
- Shell Advance 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-40, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto
- Castrol Activ 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-50, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto

Then check your valves... VERY IMPORTANT!!:

Hi Rizzo,

Check out some of the Atomik threads to get an overall idea on quality.

Some people swear by them, others swear against them.

As with any of the chinese bikes, especially ebay chinese bikes, you will need to look after it well and take some precautionary measures to assist with the bikes longevity.

Lately I have heard the Atomik bikes have been improving. This is not to say they are now great, more to say they seem to be less hit and miss these days.

Check out the below threads and should you choose to go down the Atomik rd. If you follow the advice in these posts and try to be patient your bike will outlast most other Atomiks and give you years of enjoyment.

The above may look like a lot of work. Some of it is. However, if you do pull your bike apart before riding it will rid you of the fear of doing this. I know it is almost impossible not to jump on the thing and try to wheelie down your driveway but just be patient and your new friend will be with you for years to come.

If you struggle with the above threads. There are many people here who would be more than happy to offer any assistance you may require.

Atomik Nitrous, ptipro and DHZ are all in the same ball park.

I lead people to DHZ because they sponsor alot of events and they have the after services' that most other companys on eBay lack.

Yes listen to logic and bulldog ive seen my mates do the same thing they buy an atomik pull it out of the crate put it together add fuel and a week later they are saying stupid chinese bike now they wont even touch them and it only takes a few hours and sum elbow grease add sum beer and it is enjoyable

i have an atomik nitrous 140,The bike is good fun and has enough power but the shocks and the handle bars let it down, poor quality, Shocks bottom out and I have bent the handle bars, So you can get a Atomik nitours cheap then spend money on upgrading it, which I find fun, or just go out and buy a DHZ in the first place

for an extra $50 i can get a dhz 140....to hell with the atomiks if the DHZ's are better...thanks heaps
