Hi there just bought a 2nd hand dhz. It was advertised as a 190cc but upon research I can't find a pitster pro 190 engine?? Also do I need to change the coolant? Can post pictures

its a yx 160ho bottom end you need a 17mm socket, extension on the sump bolt.. with a tub under it (approx larger than 800 ml)
re-install sump bolt after letting it all run out and holding the bike upright (too get all the oil out)
DONT OVVERTIGHTEN just do snug and then a bit more
fill with approx 800ml of 15w-50 MOTORCYCLE OIL check dip stick with the bike upright and the dip stick screwed in

oh sorry I meant the oil cooler.. is that connected to the engine oil???

the yx160 and the 160HO engines are quite different.

The YX: the yx is branded YX. it doeasnt have as good of a gearbox as the 160HO, but has longer stroke. if you were to get the 64mm big bore kit, it would make it a 184, as its advertised to do. it also has a fairly heavy flywheel, and doesnt have the close ratio gearbox the 160HO runs. Head is pretty much the same, the 160HO might be a little better for overall quality, but ports, valves, etc are pretty much the same.

The 160HO: the 160HO(High Output) is a Zhonshen branded engine, has a stronger bottom end than the yx, but a shorter stroke. if you were to get the 184cc big bore kit, it would actually make it a 177cc, because of the shorter stroke. alot of people preffer the 160HO for racing, as it has an outer rotor kit(ork lightened flywheel) and shorter stroke, which all in all is much better for acceleration.

Your bike has the 160HO Zhongshen engine,(http://www.dhz.com.au/buy/new-2013-...r-kit-support-lighting-battery-charging/EN-09) a good starting point to make a kick ass engine. plus its in a sick bike, what you have there is the DHZ outlaw 160(http://www.dhz.com.au/buy/dhz-outlaw-160r-lki-sticker-full-race-spec/DHZ-05) which sports GPX black label fully adjustable front forks, and a dnm adjustable shock. they are a great bike for the money! it looks to be in great condition, but sadly, does not have a "pitsterpro 190cc" engine. as far as i know, the only 190cc horizintal engine out there is the Daytona 190cc anima 4v.

the 160HO sounds fine to me! could it have the big bore kit in it? maybe that's what he was referring to?

could be! if it has the bbk on i reckon you'd know, just by the feel of kicking it over. is it hard to kick over, like it has alot! of compression?

If your lucky it might have the v2 head. although its pretty hard to tell from the outside, i m pretty sure the only difference (on the outside) is that the v2's cam cover is angled in a bit more, this thread might help u:http://www.miniriders.com/mini-chat/39484-how-tell-v2-head-outside.html

no it's pretty easy to kick over.. a bit harder than my 125 but in now way is it a struggle***8230; it does kick back at me sometimes

it looks to be a Z160HO, like this one- http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NEW-PITS..._Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d146b4655&_uhb=1

this is a DHZ with a Daytona 190FDX Anima
click on the picture to enlarge it, you'll see your head is way different.

ring the guy you bought it off, he might give you your money back if your not happy with it?

had a rip on it before I'm pretty damn happy with it.. payed $1000 cash. it's pretty rare for a bike like this to come on the market where i am

yeh mate, sounds like whoever sold it to u was out to rip u off. the 184 kit, with or without the v2 head, will still be hard to kick over. did you buy it online ? if so, send a message to the website ASAP. wait too long and they wont accept your complaint. however, if u were lucky enough to have bought it locally, you can pay him a visit, and hopefully sort it out, or go to the police and report false advertisement, i hate liars. alot.

its just an outlaw 160ho...v2 head would have klx cam cover and bore kit would clearly have tb stamped or engraved into it

That is certainly a zs160ho No problem with that :) decent motor onyl annoying thing is low rev limit due to weak valve springs i have the 155

How do I go about improving the springs???

Yes a pawn shop

Good luck getting 1c of your money back then. sorry to be blunt, but i highly doubt you'll get anything back , from a pawn shop. they are out to make a buck, and thats where it stops. remember, the customer is always right when they are making a purchase, but is always wrong when making a complaint.
