Braaap 140

Hey just wondering what these bikes are like? Thinking of buying a braaap 140 2008 for $500 is that a good deal? What were braaaps like in 2008?

Looks like a Braaap Maestro
DNM forks, good rear shock, look's pretty well built.
I have heard snaptrax mention they are quite heavy even though they have an alloy frame.
Cant be any heavier than my Pro Factory 190 though

My personal opinion $500 is to much even thou it's a decent frame everything else is China, like Craig said forks and shock are good but could be flogged out and probably/by the looks of it seen better days. If it was me I wouldn't be spending anymore then $350 maybe $400 if pushed on it. Leaving you more money to freshen it up once you get it home and go over it with a fine tooth comb.

its a bit much $500 for 7 Year old bike but i have heard braaaps are good bikes (not sure 2008 tho ) if you can get the price dropped and make sure nothing major is broken take it for a test ride
