can i repair my valve seat

i pulled my gas line off the carburtor and a lil funky stuff cme ou after a 6 mnth sit and come to find out the valve seat in my carb isnt working its moving but no gas is getting past it please what can i do

and fyi its brand new with less then 100 miles on the street

Post some pics, might make it a bit easier to diagnose.... Also most carbys have re-build kits availible, might be a good start.

Some of that funky stuff is blocking the inlet, tear down the carb and clean it all out

A bit of a dodgy heading Reyan, as most people will instantly think intake or exhaust valve seat in your head, rather than anything carb related. Definitely get that carb apart, clean it out, and reassamble. Make sure you drain your tank and get rid of all that bad fuel, and get some fresh fuel, before kicking it over to fire her up.
