car audio help! PLZ!

hey guyes,

im installing a amp, sub into my ute but i cant get the bloody thing working!
its a kenwood head unit with 2 RCA plugs. the amp has main power direct to batery( tro fuse ovcouse) its earthed propperly. the sub and speakers are connected properly, the wire that makes the amp turn on is connected to the same assosories as the CD player so that should work. iv got 2 RCA splitters so making 4 RCA plugs into the amp (4 channel). anyone have an idear wats wrong?? the amp turns on and cd player turns on but no audio!! HELP

hey man u need 2 hook the remote wire to the the blue wire on the back of the head deck its the remote out wire on the head deck if that doest work somthing else is no rite

check your gain isn't turned right down, does it have a switch to select from rca input to wired input? if so alot a factory selected to the wired input

It sounds like either amp switch selection. or the blue remote wire must go back to the amp. that wire send the audio single to pick up htrough the amp. as long as you have the wires comeing from the deck into the amp then fom the amp out to the speakers. you should get sound. if not something may be DOA
