just wondering if i can replace my roundslide carb with a flatside carb? and is there any improvement in performance with a flatslide carb?

you sure can, there are a few threads on here about the benefits of a oko flatslide or something comparable.
what engine are you planning on putting the flatslide on?
the biggest benefits of a flat slide is a almost light switch power delivery, all or nothing lol. you will loose a small amount bottom end but gain a bigger punch up top

Yeah, it seems to be common effect of flatslide carbs, alot of people think its like riding a 125 2t without the outright horsepower. In the way that all your power moves up top.

i have an orion apollo with a ducar 125cc, which size should i run on it? i was thinking the oko 26mm flatside race carby?

best off with something smaller, an OKO 24mm should just be ok with a bit of tuning

yeah dont go any bigger than the 24mm oko, i had the 26mm on my hi comp gpx but they suck a whole lot more air than a standard 125
