Choke info please

hi guys..
Just a question..
I have a 200cc chinese pitty a with a chinese carb too..
The carb has the black 3 postion lever on it.. ( it think they
call it a pumper carb, not sure )
just wanna make sure this is correct.. Up is for when the bike
is cold and you wanna start it right ?
So when its cold and the lever is up how long would you reccomend
leaving it that position till you put it to the middle position and how long
for you leave it there till you flick it to the normal running possy (down)
how long should you really wait till its warm until you go out thrashing..

best thing to do is to remove the air filter and see where the butterfly is..
closed for choke on

5minutes is a good warm up for a total thrashing lol

but i usually just start it let it idle for a minute then casually ride for a couple more

and you leave the choke on till it will idle without it
