I have a brand new lifan 125cc choking up just after take off, carby fully cleaned out and can't figure it out timing?, valves? Any help would be awesome

My first pitty was a Pitpro lifan 125 and tried heaps of things but only came good after adjusting the slide needle c clip to the bottom notch.

Slide needle is at the highest setting
And no the choke is off fuels new

Drop it to the lowest setting and give that a whirl mate, sounds like it is running lean, we need to richen it up.

definately check it dude, all the way at the top is way lean, even go back to the middle notch if you want to try that first, but these engines like running richer from my experience, keep us posted lad.

Most responsive and not bogging up I found was the second setting from the bottom, tried every other hight and no go. She wheel stands good now and take off is smooth and no coughing or bogging cheers heaps Rotn50
