cleaned the carby and found this???

I cleaned the carby out and found this at the bottom of the bucket i was cleaning the carby in?? my bike runs like crap now it spits and carrys on and blows alot of smoke like its running rich or something?? just wondering where it came from?????

if im not mistakin put that back in its your jet

i have got both jets screwed in??

have you pulled it apart since you got it

comes from the same hole that main jet housing goes in

so take out your main jet including the housing thing and put it back in... make sure its around the right way and it goes in 100%

if you actually take your slide out of your carb and look in where the needle goes in there is a brass little thing that you can see that sticks up a couple of mm's

its what you got in your pic its happened to me before

i tired putting it back in where that needle goes in but the needle kept getting stuck on it and it kept getting pulled out of the hole. I tried putting it in the other way around and it wouldn't fit??

yeah it the needle jet... you need to take the emulsion tube out(bit the mainjet screws into) then slide that back in there(should only go 1 way) then screw it all back together...

as for it getting stuck... id recon if ya hadnt of wacked it with a star screw driver to get it out(thts wat it looks like) then it wouldnt have those marks in it...

it was getting stuck before and wouldn't stay in their so i just had too,lol
