compression problem

recently just put in new piston and rings into an atomik nitrous 125 and put it all back together. reset the the valves.. it starts when ever its dead cold and runs but runs real rough.. then once it dies it wont start again and there is no compression at all
ive set the vakves at in-0.03 and out-0.04 not to sure what the problem is or if its just ive set something wrong? any help would be good cheers

sounds like you have a piston problem. wrong size purhaps

Yeah I measured the piston and it all measures the same as the other ones but might try a new one...

Think you mean 0.003 and 0.004 thou. I hope so.

yeah if you set them yo .03mm and .04mm then that might be your problem, when the engine heats up everything expands and with that tiny gap the valves will be held open all the time..

.003 thou and .004 thou (thousands of an inch) is the correct setting..

could be a mixture of problems tho..

By sound of it it could be the valves I'll reset them and see how it goes coz yeah as soon as it warms up it feels like ya kicking it over with the clutch in
