DHZ 3rd Gear

I have 2 x DHZ Monster 140cc bikes
One you cannot select 3rd gear, goes into neutral and the other shifts from 3rd to
4th under engine breaking into corners
Any ideas before I strip them both as to the causes
Both gearboxes started playing up today

im guessing you've striped the cogs for the gears due to not carfule on the clutch or no use of it at all

^^^^ man you havent got a clue lol

check your gear drum to make sure it hasnt come loose..
theres a bolt behind the rubber bung above the front sprocket.
and at the other end there you have to check the shift star that is screwed to the end of the shift drum.
you have to take the clutch cover and clutch assembly off to do the shift star..

another thing to look for is the gear lever shaft.. check it isnt bent...

i doubt both engines will have the same fault
