engine ??? help needed asap

hay all

posting this up for a mate..

he has a geranic chineese pit bike not sure what make or model but did have a lifian engine in it... the engine has shat itself and he has found a 125 engine..
which is a brand like zongshone something like that.. are they any good and will it fit into any 125cc chineese pit bike ????

hmmm, my exprience...if it can fit a 110/90postie...it wont fit a thumpie...

i got a jialing with a cam and lighten fly wheel etc etc if your interested

mmm i think he is learing towards a new bike.... not sure at this stage.. if thats the case we might have another wrecking sale

It should fit the frames' engine mounts since they are all based off the Honda CRF50 mount pattern ... Zongshens are a bit wider than the 140 type Lifans so he may need a straight peg bar ... Black Lifans are basically a rebadged Zongshen anyway ...

Your mate wants to hope that the guy never flogged it off due to tranny problems which those engines suffer from as a result of clutch abuse , not using the clutch and shifting under load , hard down shifting or dropping the bike and forcing the shift forks and selectors ...
