Exhaust!!

Hi everyone, just a short question, ive just got a new exhaust system, just wondering if the pipe is suppose to be welded to the muffler when you fit it to the bike??

hi mate NO the muffler and the header should lide in to each other.

Yeah ,mate, it's the muffler clamp that when tightened will hold the muffler firm in place,

the pipe is usually made of steel and the mufflers' ends are normally alloy, they cant be welded together
