So I finally got to meet "my67xr" in person, and it was great to meet craig and his family. The kids had a blast riding around, but us old folks ran out of time to ride for long. We had just enough time for a couple of laps and a straight line run with the taki'd 178 against craigs big 4 valve 190. They were very close until we slotted into fourth, then his big beast walked away from me ;)
No vids unfortunately but we did get some photos of the bikes

Cant wait to do it all again for longer next time.

Cool gotta love how bikes bring people together . l haven't seen some dudes for 20 + years .Then they purchase some dirt bikes or they get back into the sport with the kids again ,soon enough they are in contact.

It was good to finally catch up with you, and meet your family too.
I think you definately had the home track advantage !

If people are wondering why we all have our mouth's open, we were saying Minirider's for the camera, lol

Google map's show the trip as 239km's without traffic, 2hr's 38min's (not allowing for 80km, 60km and 50km/h zone's through town's etc)
It took us close on 3.5 hour's still to get home from your place in the end
(we stopped for 5 min's to fill up with gas, 5 mins to grab something to ea, and 5 min's to pick up Jake).

I worked out the final drive ratio's of our bike's, your ratio is 2.73, mine is 2.65
So if we both had the exact same bikes and engine's, my top speed would be 3.3% faster than your's
You gear's are slightly lower ratio than mine so your bike would get off the line a touch quicker.

Mine caught me off guard when the front wheel popped up in the air, lol
Imagine doing it from a standing start on that hard stuff we had a run on, haha

Yeah I agree, the track takes a little bit to get used to.
Cant believe it was 4hrs to get back... thats crazy!
I thougt I snagged a win that run you popped the front up, but you stills had the legs to outrun me :( thanks heaps for bringing the bike up, and all the awesome gear ;)
