headset tube standard size

just wondering if 45mm is standard for the bearing location in a standard headset.
any ideas?

ive got 3 frames in the shed, 1 is 45mm 1 is 47mm and the other iam unsure lol.

dont think there really is a "standard" size,

there are also 42mm headsets, to further confuse the issue...

but 45mm headset bearing cases should be readily available???

Are you talking about I/D or O/D ?

CRF/XR head sets are 43 mm I/D and the majority of others are 44 mm I/D ....

Atomic , Orion etc are most likely 45 mm since I sold my brother a 44 mm twin trellis frame and he said the bearings from one were too big .....
