help,kickstart slipping

Just bought a 125cc dirtbike and when i go to kickstart it,it feels like it slips(goes straight down and does`nt turn the engine).What can i do to fix this?It has a lifan engine.

pull the RHS case of and have a look at the kick start gears, if there are missing gears its obvious that its not going to kick over... im not to sure about replacing the 125cc kick start but ive replaced mine 3 times now

does it have the clutch on first gear or on the crank?

the clutch (if it has 1) cable might be too tight and allways holdin the clutch in. cheers
