I have 2004 crf50, pulled motor down to Pot tb 117 stroker kit on it. Going to add high Volume oil pump Which Requires 2mm drill out of oiling outlet.
BUT!. someone has had ago at drilling out And drilled n chip side out! as can see in picture.

Dosen't look to have gone all the way down as surpost too. just looks like had a go at it n kinda stuff'd up.

Q. Would it still be ok if drill 2mm hole down as per normal for high volume oil pump. and leave the Chip out the one side!! OR is it going to be NO! good.

ideas and thoughts please!

On angle the picture looks to show. where mate that had bike before me! try'd to drill 2mm for high volume oil pump.
 
Drill a straight 2mm hole and you'll be fine. It's just a restrictor, so as long as there's a portion 2mm round, it will serve it's purpose, and the extra notch won't have any effect. It's in the gasketed area so it won't leak.
