how much oil?

hety guys agiain, i was gunna change oil some time soon, probably done 1000km on it or so lol, friom new, btw, but i have a 900ml, or 1L bottle of castrol 20w-50 or 40 id have ta go check, but anywayz, how much oil do i need to put in, i have a 2008 lifan 125cc engine, on a motoworks pro series, piece of awsome crap lol, but if any one could tell me id be happy thanks, i would think it would be same as any other 125cc 4 stroke pitty engine, juliman waz here 2009- soon to be 2010

lol update the oil is castrol 4t, 15w 40 or somethin

900ml Is what you need to put in it. Yeah castorl 4t 15w/40 non-synthetic will do fine.

Here is what I recomend to most people:
- Shell Advance 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-40, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto
- Castrol Activ 4T Motorbike Oil - 15W-50, 1 Litre - Supercheap Auto

speaking of oils.
has any used penrite's four stroke multigrade 20w50??
claims it 'ideal' for motorcycles as well as other aplications. just curious as i got a bit of it laying around and dont know if it would be a good idea to use it of not.

nah that penright stuff is no good for china motors, stick with castrol activ 4T

just put 900mls is then start it and stop it then check the dipstick, add more if needed

nah iv seen some engines die within hours of using tht oil. it glazes up the bore in no time.
its more or less made for briggs and straton engines or stationery engines..

Mine takes more like 700ml for some reason... according to the dipstick .

And with around 900ml it runs bad because there is to much oil.......

it has twin oil coolers , mite hold a few 100ml in them...

when u drain the oil about 100ml stays in there... thats probably why
