Hi guys I need a bit of help on how to start my bike when its cold. It takes at least 30 kicks everytime. When it warms up its fine. But theres gotta be an easier way!!!
My bike is an Atomik Hummer 250cc...

have you adjusted the mixture screw to get it running sweet?

have you checked it for air leaks on the intake side ?
start the bike and spray some carby cleaner or wd40 etc on all the joins on the carby, and manifold etc
if the idle changes in any way when you are doing it, then there is a vacuum leak that needs to be fixed.

check the valve clearances too while your at it, they'll need adjusting

and are you running an NGK spark plug ?

Ok ill check for air leaks. And yes im running NGK

All good just really cold I suppose. Thanx
Another problem occurred though. It was so hard to put into neutral the gear lever was getting stuck. Is this a common problem

might just need a minor clutch adjustment on the cable ?

Ok ill look up on youtube on how to do that.
