Ignition Key Wiring

I want to elimate the key as it is faulty. It has 4 wires from the plug to the key switch. Green (earth), Red (has 12v from harness) Black (has 12v when the key is on and the key is wiggled enough) Black/white (has 24v when engine running, 0v when not running. Looks like it comes from CDI).

I will join the the red to black, blank of the earth but I am unsure about the black/white wire?

Your making it sound difficult. Usually you would only need to cut/unplug the 2 wires connecting to the key barrel and join them together. Then it should be bypassed so you can throw away the keys. Thats called hot wiring lol.

usually you just unplug the key and the engine will work, no need for wiring

yeh as the boys said it should run without the wires connected to anything?
but if you are asking how to install a new killswitch to replace the key with. Then you simply use the white/black wire and the green wire.

Simply:
when there not connected engine runs
when those two are connected the engine will not run
