Ok so im getting a lifan 125 when my yx sells was wondering what its the dfferances/benifits of the clutch actuator arm on the top or on the side is one better then the other ? plz explane cheers Jordan

well the clutch on the front means the clutch as actually on the crank so no oil slinger..
and the other the clutch is run off the gearbox input shaft.

clutch on the top rear engines generally seem to perform better

ha, jst a look on ebay and still its all up with the clutch arm on the top of the motor, with Neutral start

edit, take it back, didnt c the link above

um...more to the point...clutch lever at front= start in neutral... a prick at times, having to find neutrals that like hiding...

clutch lever at top= start in gear, just pull the clutch in and kick :D much nicer if you drop it/stall it and are in a bad position... or a race...

I had the lifan 125 with clutch off crank. Was alright, they arnt race enginers but it does the job. A gps would be nice. In the uk would be nicer. Does anyone on here actually from the uk or just au?
