LIFAN 125CC FUEL NEEDLE SETTING??

I have a lifan 125cc motor with a uni air filter and a big bore ebay exhaust. what notch should my fuel needle be set at on the carb?? Right now it is set 2nd notch from bottom. I am also 535 feet above sea level.

what sort of carby do you have ?
if you have jetted/tuned the carby correctly, then try out the other settings and do a plug chop

have you done a plug chop on it yet, to see how it is running ?
use a new/clean spark plug and go for a ride to warm it up.
then while riding it at WOT in 3rd or 4th gear, switch it off and bring the bike to a stop.
then pull the plug out and see what colour the porcelain is inside it

black is too rich,
tan is good,
and white is too lean

then adjust the clip to suit your findings
having the clip on the 2nd notch from the bottom, is a touch richer than the standard setting.
