I have a lifan 125cc, are these engines considered good?
Its the 1 down, rest up engine! Starts easely, runs good, Ive changed oil a lot during break in so I should expect good engine life!
My only concern is the tranny, its difficult sometime to put it in neutral, and if I wiggle the bike when running and in neutral it will jump into gear, heading forward! It runs flawless when I change gears during riding though!

yeah the Lifan 125's aren't too bad, they go well for what they are.
regular engine oil changes help the life of the engine.

i would be adjusting the valves so it makes the bike easier to start, and that will also make the top end last longer.
set them to .003" (.08mm) inlet, and .004"(.1mm) exhaust though
you will need a basic set of feeler gauges, a 8mm & 9mm spanner, and a pair of pliers

sounds like the clutch needs adjusting.
does your cable have an adjuster mid way down, if it does, loosen the locknut and undo the adjuster a little, then tighten the locknut and try the clutch again

Yes it has an adjuster mid way down :) I have adjusted it to what I think works! There shouldnt be a problem! But I will look into it!
