lifan 125cc type r head

im trying to split the caseing on my lifan 125cc type r head and just wondering i got magneto off do i have to pull the oil sling and that off too to split it ?

any help would be nice cheers

Yes you have to take the oil sling off too ... Undo the 4 phillips head screws on the end and there's a castle nut inside that needs a 4 pronged tool to undo ... Then the clutch needs to be removed if it's a start in gear motor ... and the gear selector shaft/fork ...
