Hey guys, first post on here, i suppose this is the right section to ask this... I ride my z50 on my parents property and it's pretty bloody loud(for them anyway), it's got an 88kit on it with all the goodies. I am wondering if it is possible to lose some db's without losing the power. Has anyone tried anything to quite it or know what can be done? I have two exhausts, one aftermarket and the other stock which takes my engine back to feeling stock... Which is no fun. I did some googling but not much information on there. Any help and or info would be great, cheers

If you have a welder you could alway's make a silencer insert like what come's with new bike's these days

Something to restrict the size of the outlet by half.
Usually they don't restrict the engine that much

Cool that was my first thought just wasn't sure if it would restrict it too much. I'll get the welder out and have a play with it on the weekend. Cheers for that!
