Motovert 160. Spare throttle cable?

Im not sure i should run it without addressing this spare cable.

first time turning over was a bastard, maybe due to this spare cable i have.
also are these clutch in or out to start?
but my main concern is this cable

have no idea wat your on about, but if the bike has a throttle cable fitted to it already then it is exactly as you worded it..."spare"

and what gives you the idea that a clutch would need to be pulled in to start it....
clutch operation is irrelevant to start in any gear engines.... in or out it will start..

As sean said if your throttle cable is connected then you're done.

Put the engine in neutral and start it, you won't need to hold the clutch in.

I beleive its for the butterfly leaver on the carby?
Black tab has a slot suited for the end that
Matches the throttle lug.. As at the moment the
Black tab to open and close the butterfly will
Only open it. I manually flick down the silver arm
To shut it again.
Am i on the money? If so im not sure how to fit
The remaining length of cable.

That would be the choke that you're talking about. Most pitbikes (99%) don't have a cable for the choke, you just flick the black tab to turn the choke on (butterfly closed) and once it's warm flick it back the other way to turn the choke off (butterfly open).

Yours MIGHT have a choke lever for your handle bars, I'm not familiar with your particular bike, but I don't think I've ever seen a pitbike with a choke lever on the bars.. In either case you can ride it without that cable by using the black lever on the carby.
