Hey guys, my speedo has stopped on the rx. I'm assuming the sensor bolted to the forks has failed. Everything appears to be fine. Magnet is still there, plugged in properly I've tried changing the gap and no luck. Can I use a sensor from a different bike or do I have to try find a motovert one?

It might just have a broken wire somewhere between the sensor and the head unit?
You could cut the 2x wire's about 50mm up from the magnetic sensor and measure the ohm's there (set meter to 200 Ohms)
Spin the wheel and see if it get's a reading when the magnet passes it
If that is ok, then cut the wire's up somewhere behind the headlight before it get's to the meter.
Then try soldering in a new length or wire (thins speaker wire or similar) between the top and bottom.
It might fix the problem

Otherwise a bike sensor could be a simple swap in too.

If that doesn't fix it there might be a problem in the actual meter, you should be able to take the back off and check it out.
It could be a dry soldered joint ?

Motovert spare part's look like they sell a replacement sensor-
