my bike not getting any spark

hi guys how yous all goin my zongshen thumpstar wont start i have replaced the coil cdi and plug but still gettin no spark please help

check ur wiring from ur stator.
take ur tank and seat off and check all conections in the wiring loom too

hey mate yeah done all that i touched a wire when i was trying to start it and got shocked lol
and i keep taking the plug out and its always clean with nothing on it is that normal

so you have it all earthed to ur frame?

um not sur but i will check after work so do u think it the wires mate

yes, im asuming wires if you dont get spark, when ya get home take ya plug out of the head, put it back in the coil lead, touch it on ur frame and kick you should be able to see a spark here.
if not do you have a multimeter?

i done that and there was no spark and yes i do have one

this happened to me..

on my genuine thumpstar. i connected the seat and it stopped getting spark.
now your going to think i am a nut case but the wires were around the wrong way.. but i didnt touch them and it worked before..
so i would re do all plugs to make sure they are all in the right thing..
when was it working last?

is ur coil conected to the plug diectly, or do you have a plug lead you connected to the coil?

Are you absolutely sure its earthed?

it just has the spark plug lead goin to the plug is that wat you are talking about mate

soo, you do have spark then, if ya had no spark you shouldnt get shocked.

This is untrue, you can get shocked from the pre ignition coil wiring which is a significantly smaller shock,

also if you've got a unregulated lighting coil, that bad boy can put out up to 100VAC.
