no worries.. i'll get some close up pics...

Well i went out today.. the big day for the first ride..
It didn't go well... I got the bike off the ute.. started it.. took of for the
first lap..... the throttle cable snapped...
That was it... pack it back up in the ute.. went home...
i was divistated.. Ahhh well , shit happens right !
there's always next time..

Ahhhh mate that sucks, but i can guarantee that we've all been there before..

you need to get a basic spares kit together, spare cables, spark plug maybe a set of levers etc etc...not to much, just basic.
That way you might just miss one race rather than a whole day.

Yeh that really sucks - but don't loose sleep over it, i used to go to the track every weekend with 1 complete bike and one for spares. Dam you CHINA BIKE!! - It does get better because when something breaks your allowd to replace it with a better/faster/stronger item and your bike imporves over time and wife/mum/gf can't say a thing

We had a Pocketbike ride tonight at one of the local Perth tracks.
Our Pocketbike club is in with Perth supermotard club.. So they allow
us to join them when they have practice rides.
So i packed the ute with my P/bike and decided to take the motard just
to see if thay would let me have a run with it.. sometimes they are a little
strict. so i put some rubber stoppers on the pegs and a overflow fuel bottle,
just to show i am putting in effort.. And they let me ride..
Man i was stoked.. had the best time out there and no toubles with the bike at
all... First good ride of it and it was sweet...
So here are a couple of pics.
Sorry none of me riding.. not many spectaters to take pictures for me.. but i got a
couple of the bike in the pits..

but i wouldnt keep it strapped into ya ute for 2 days... i have heard of bad things to what it does to your front forks and thats why you can buy these metal things that sit under your mudguard and rests in yout front wheel to stop your forks from compressing

I have a metal thing under my bike. It sits on the trailer permanently. Never done a fork seal in 5 years. Just loosed off the ties when it's sitting there and bleed the pressure every now and again.

Iridium plug

Dont have to be mods to the engine either mate..plenty of things you could do..

graphics
polishing and painting bits
Exhaust
Bars/Grips
Bolts swap out (chinga for hi ten or stainless)
air filter

think small to start with

I thought the Klx110 would fit but looking at them real close,
they are a little different.. can anyone tell me wher i can get some nice
ones is australia anywhere

i think you should be able to use klx 110 graphics but in some place like the rear number plate it will need a trim

I have seen a few on Ebay.. there about 50 clams including shipping from

dont waste your time mate searching...the ones from China are awesome quality. There 3mm thick and made from 3M cant get a lot better than that..

and yeah KLX110 will fit with a little persuasion...

I reckon these would look the goods on your bike...either set.

I think the Kwaka ones would give you a "factory ride" look....would be awesome

Yeah.. they are nice, but i dont want people thinking im a stooge coz my
bike aint a Kawasaki.. i really liked the first ones but maybe no skulls..
picky arnt I ? Black and white seem nice.. I'll keep looking.
