new bars

im putting on some new tapers atm
and im wondering
what do you use to get the grips to stay on the bars?
on my bmx the bike shop would use hairspray to lube it on and then it would set sticky
but not sure what to do for motorbikes?

i just run them under hot water and push them on

easy peasy but the hairspray works

Yeah this works if you have the thick stock grips.

Just twist them and they come on/off pretty easily, they're usually a pretty tight fit and wont move.

using hairspry will make ur grips spin 4 the day

if you dont use too much it will dry overnight but you still need to use a bit of muscle to push them on.

to keep them on the bars and not spin i use stainless steel wire
its the best to do cause when you accelerate the grip wont spin on the throttle and when you hold on you know the grips wont spin or come off

yep with divy , use hairspray then get the heat gun and heat it up and stretch the grip then locwire that shit up ,no more throttle grip!!!

Like snitchy said put the grips in hot water then they expand a bit then slide them on.
