so im getting a new engine for my pitbike
lifan 125cc i am also going to be getting a carby
but which one is best and why??
what will it do for me in benefits?
is there also and down sides?

man you should try and keep all your questions in the 1 thread.. youll start to confuse people.

im guessing your asking about carbies here..

lifan 125cc isnt really considered a performance engine so while an oko 26mm carb will work, it may be slightly to big for it.. power will be dead in the bottom end..

on the right engine the oko carb will give you better performance all thru the rev range...theres really no other carb that is comparable. tho i would think a PE26 be pretty close..

all the china carbs(standard ones) are utter rubbish.

now if you choose an oko 26mm carb be sure to get a get kit with it as the main jet that is installed in it in the box is miles too big.. aim for something like 95.
so to help you out you would need these
OKO 26mm FlateSlide Race Carby Kit - DHZ Mini Moto
and this in group 1 configuration OKO Carburetor Slow & Main Jets Kit - DHZ Mini Moto
but it may pay to email or call to see if a small than 96 main is available

now as for the PE carb
Genunine Honda Keihin PE26 Performace Japan Carby - DHZ Mini Moto
Mikuni Carburetor Slow / Main Jets - DHZ Mini Moto

so what would be the best carby to put onto the lifan 125?
seen as though the oko will loose bottom end power
