Probably asked a million times before but just looking for tips on proper break in for a XY160 with a new set of rings, piston, honed cylinder and head.....

Each person has his own break in procedure
Biggest difference in bedding the ring's

Engine Break in:
Give the engine a couple of heat cycle's to help bed in the ring's
eg first ride run it for 15min's - half an hour then let it cool down for the same time
Second ride run it for half an hour and let it cool the same minimum
Probably best to drop the oil now while it's still warm, and check for any metallic bit's.
You are running a magnetic sump plug too i'm guessing ?
Run at low speeds with very low loads for the first 2-4 hrs.
It is ok to rev it up, just don't put a large load on the engine: Eg. big hills ect.
And don't go holding it at wot until it's had a couple of tank's of fuel run through it
