new vs rebuilt

ok so im rebuilding my pitpro/atomik/ebayer (lol) for my missus and was wondering would i be better to rebuild the yx150 that is comes with witch is gunna cost about $320 to get running agian or to buy a brand new gpx125.

i know the yx has had a floging from the previous owner it needs

new piston
new cylinder
new valves
new clutch
new gaskets
and some outher stuff

what do u guys reckon

if its just for your missus then just buy a normal run of the mill 125 engine.. you dont need the gpx125..

also how do you know the 150 barrel and the valves need replacing...??

Coz one of the valves had a chip out of it and scratched the crap out of the barrell so a lifan 125 would be the go

yeah, id just buy a new 125 from Ken. Cheaps as chips and way less time and effort required.

id like to see this, valves dont chip. throw some pics of everything up, everything may well be usable
