Sounds awesome bud, and congrats on the standings for the race mate, I may be a lap behind ya at VCM in may but when ya come around to pass me again...technically I'll be in front lol.
By race 4 (last time i went) Styv was behind me WOOT!! and by that i mean he didn't lap me in that one race Also last time out at Native Dog I flogged him in the time trial (mind you, his bike blew up and he had to push it back) but hey, a wins a win
robbie knee from tassie, his dad welded up a custom manifold cause all the stock stuff isnt good should see it and goes really well with 33mm carb to.
I'll ask him tomorrow if I can get a hold of him. Like I said ages ago, those 190's came stock with a 22mm, he tried the 28 and said the 33 is without doubt the best choice. The custom manifold was just an aluminuim tube welded to a flange, looked kinda factory cool.
Nick,
Robby said most people run the 28mm kehin, he runs the 33 with the reccomended jets in the Daytona manual. He was a bit coy about his manifold though, hahah. Seriously it's just an aluminim pipe welded to a home made flange that is bolted to the srtock manifold it comes with and runs a bit of silicon pipe, like the blue stuff on intercooled turbo cars, between manifold and carby.
Bingo, you are spot on Nick, sorry for making it confusing. Standard manifold with a trick aluminium adapter that bolts to the manifold then uses silicon pipe and 2 hose clamps, one on the pipe, the other on the carby. Looks cool too. I think you can also get that silicon stuff in red, matches your bike
