what do u guys think this bike is worth it needs some work its my brothers and he wants $400

its a dirtmax 160cc

needs a new swing arm (wheel adjusting bolt snapped cannot remove it)
lost parts of the back brakes so needs new complete back brake
needs a front brake lever
needs a chain guide
one side number plate missing so will need new plastics kit
rear wheel sprocket came loose on last ride so i think the threads are rooted inside on the wheel hub so needs a new back rim
the bike rides ok when running but chews thru oil

what would u pay for the bike knowing it needs all this work? the pictures are old it now has good tyres

if you were to sell it you wont get much, people dont pay good money for pit bikes anymore. to top it off it needs a fair bit of parts. check how much $$ that has to be spent on her then you can estimate if its worth your while when you do go to sell it.

Something like that would be worth buying to fix up the way you like it and keep.
You wont make money on it and most of the time you will lose money if you sell.

by the sounds of it ... needs a top end rebuild + a bunch of other stuff u mentioned offer him $250 thats being generous
