hey all
just wondering if anyone knows much about the pitpro 140 brakes
im having a bit of trouble adjusting them
cheers

well the front brakes have no play at all you only needa squeez them a little to get full lock
ive drained some brake fluid out but still is doin the same thing

When the front wheel is off the ground can you spin the wheel freely with no resistance? The front breaks are pretty touchy and take a bit to get used to? have you warn them in yet or are they still new?

just span it and it sounded like it was rubbin on the pad
the bike is second hand but had only been ridin about 4-5 times before i bought it

sorry bleed*
a mate said there might be to much fluid in the line??

try getting a big flat blade screw driver and wedge the pads open a bit. make sure the piston moves freely.it might be seized if the bike has been sitting around

just had a play around with it
and i think you might be right
how would i go about fixing it?

sorry im new to bikes
i had a fiddle but with the flathead but the pads seem really stiff

When you used the flat head could you move the pads slighty? Enough to stop it been so tight on the disc? maybe just ride it for a while and see if they loosen up
