hey dude if you put your bike on a stand of create so the engine is level you should only need about 800/900ml unless you have a cooler then just a bit more just dont top it up with the bike free standing cos when you look at your bike you will notice the all our engine are just sitting up a bit at the front so this will affect the dip stick when adding oil
as for plastics do what ever you want its your bike. the way i see it if your riding your bike its getting air so you dont need plastics but if your just sitting on your computer and your bikes in the shed on display it will look like sh*t like some ppl's bikes on this forum so get on your bike son a get dirty moto style
