Pod Filters???

Hey guys,

The other day a mate of mine (who doesn't ride but tunes cars) was telling me that you can get pod filters for pit bikes as opposed to the standard foam filters. I've never seen them before so i was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them or if they exist. If you can get them, are there any performance gains or anything?

Legit Uni-brand "Pod" filters are a huge step up in filtration from the coarse-foam scrap that comes with most pit bikes. Piranha is one of the few that uses the Uni stock. Remember, the filter is supposed to be oiled with a filter oil, in order to trap the most dirt and dust. No real performance gain, besides longer life.

cleaner air and bigger induction noise... thats the only gain you will get out of a "pod" filter
