Hi
I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas as to why DNM HRC rear shock would be leaking fluid and what the grub screw on the bottom adjuster is used for ?
Cheers Dirtdog

leaking oil means the seals has gone hard or a little bit have dirt has gotten into the seal in the shock which hold the oil in the shock and now its leaking. Time for a new shock o

Yup ... and IF the mounts were squashed in on the the shock bushes due to the bolts being over tightened ... then that will cause the seals to chop out really quickly and can even cause the shaft to snap ... Beer can coolers made from wet suit material make good shock covers to help keep dirt out ... or you can buy covers from SGR USA ... The grub screw either holds the adjuster on or makes the inner shaft turn ? ... Just a guess ...

Thanks Guys for all your help I have only had it for 6 months and only ridden on it twice ! so maybe under used ?
Thanks for all your help
Cheers Dirtdog
