Rust?

How do you remove rust from metal if it's too big to soak? Potatoes, dish soap, lime and white vinegar are not working haha. It'll come off if I use a steel cloth, but then it looks crap and scratched

some light sand paper will do the job....
then paint it with your desired colour....

or steel wool it then get the polish paste onto it

What are you working on ? Some parts work really wheel when they are soaked molasses and water. There is a ratio you mix it to and then sit the part in there for a week or two and it comes out looking great. It doesn't hurt paint ect also. But if it's a normal steal part, a wire brush wheel on a drill will work really good and then rust treat and paint. Also the cheap wire wheels work ok but they stop cutting, so flip it in reverse and it cuts better since the wires bend over, repeat when it doesn't work good again.

what part is too big that you can't soak it ?
you could do a ewhole frame if you had to, just find a big plastic tub etc
