SL70 gets updated suspension, Good head

Started with a ragged beater:

Added some long, sexy legs:

Taking shape:

Piranha/YX150DTE, with some porting, 28/24 valves, Tak S20 Decomp cam, Daytona-spec PE28, cut & spun manifold for the chassis, and a heavier Honda ignition and flywheel 'cuz he's an old flattracker.

He's still gotta sort a brake line bracket, some fenders, and get some firePOWer stickers on there, but it's close

I like the cranky old pic...reminds me of On Any Sunday when the dude was riding up the hill with no tire on the front rim.....by the way..ya got some big wood there..lol

Its mostly sorted out now. Rode it today. Better than Viagra! Its very fast. Yea Terry really dose do GOOD HEAD s LOL That Decomp cam is the ****! Getting ready to take apart and paint.

That looks awesome! Old-skool style with some very nice mod-cons, its gonna look sweet with the fresh paint. Have you increased the capacity with the TB jug? or is it just a replacement for the original cylinder?

Thanks, The bore kit is 57mm so on a 150 with a 60mm stroke it makes it ABOUT a 153cc I rode the bike 2 weeks ago and its VERY fast. That big tire throws alot of dirt! I love the DEcomp cam. I just have to take it all apart and paint everything. Disc brakes feel great too.

Hi mate what is the spec of the Daytona pe28? I'm trying to get one to run on my pit but am unsure if I've got the right needle and throttle slide? Cheers

Ive got a jfn needle but a 6.0 slide. With that set up its really rich. It's better with the 2 stroke needle.
