TB Race head Cam cover

hey guys im new

ive got a ct70 with a TB 88cc bore kit & race head. it has a 2 bolt cam and the standard cover hits the sprocket

What cam cover do you use??

Sure you have the cam all the way in? Did you swap the cover on the other side for one with a large center nub?

yeah cams all the way in... i swapped to a chinese right side cover because it only has a small hole on for the cover as the ct70 cover was too big!

the cam cover only hits by about 4mm

Remove right cover, and see if cam moves in more.

checked the right cover cam all the way in and cover has small nub...

where do i go from here help???

can you grind down the parts hitting the cam

thinking thats what i will do! but shouldnt have to there must be a cover for it
