terra moto carbie help

just got a second hand terra moto pro the bike starts first kick wth the choke off and wont start at all on the choke. Once its warmed i try to accelerate and it gets all boggy and dies wat should i do to fix this problem i know nothing bout carbys so any help would be appreciated

First off check your valve clearances to make sure they're right since non seating valves can mimic carb problems ....... and clean and lightly re-oil your air filter ......

Next , check and adjust your float level ....... if it's still bogging after that then either your jetting is too rich , you have ignition problems .... or you're opening the throttle too fast .....

If it's puffing out white smoke .... then your rings are no good and your compression is down .......
