did you physically see this white rubber thing come out or is it possible it was already in the oil drain container?
cause there is nothing apart from the o ring on the dipstick and the rubber seals on the oil filter in these engines, specially the size your talking about... all other seals are external..

i had to physicly remove it it was poking out the botom and when i moved it 3 more piceses came out ... you could say it was a hard plastic
