Well I finally got my 28/24 valve head and hc piston from akunar, and let me tell you the parts are great. The head looks nice, and it is actually has the smaller combustion chamber then the stock head I sold giving me some more compression, and its also got the akunar valves which provide more compression. The piston looks great, its got a nice dome on it, and akunar pre cut the piston tops for me to clear the bigger cams, and now I have more then enough piston to valve clearance for the AHP cam I purchased. I have about 6mm between the piston valve and dome. The Piston doesnt sit to far down in the cylinder, doesnt look to bad but the dome and smaller chambered head and alves should all bring up the compression compared to stock. The head and piston costed me $210.00 shipped, and was really worth it. Tomorrow I will be dropping off the cam, valves, rockers and piston to get coatings put on for a decent price. I am thinking ceramic dome, ceramic valve face, moly on cam and rockers. I also ordered a 26mm OKO carb kit from solomon racing for a total of 128 shipped with a pilot jet kit as well. Preety soon the engine will be all together : )

well I just got my cylinder back from the shop, I got them to take off a 1mm from the top and it looks like a nice cut across. The cylinder now measures 80.5mm, I will still be using the stock gaskets and if the engine does not run good, I will buy another cam sprocket and have it slotted. I am waiting on akunar to send me the proper 28/24 valves since he sent me 27/23's when that comes in I can have the engine put together. The very last thing I will have to do is to port my tb intake to 26mm on the head side, or buy a rubber manifold that fits the stock intake which is 26mm all the way through

Sounds like you're finally getting there ...... somebody is selling Akunars rubber intakes on ebay over here .... 'don't know how good they are tho' ...... :)

Yup its almost done :D I will see if I can find those rubber manifolds on ebay, but I know tbolt usa has them for $20 bucks.

I put her together a while back and it was perfectly built, the engine was running so perfect. I took a video on my phone of it idling, and man did she have power and speed. I broke my back riding the bike as well I was riding with no brakes, no clutch and no throttle, I pulled the cable physically for throttle. As of now everything is sold except a few things.

LOL ... Man , you should have attached a hook or lower mouth guard to the end of the cable and hung it over the teeth of your lower jaw ... Then you could have revved the engine up and down by opening and closing your mouth ... Had you done that , you could have hung on with both hands and concentrated on steering the bike thus avoiding your back breaking stack ...
