Hi guys and gals,
I need to check/set the valve clearances on a yx 125 motor, after doing a search on here and getting a million threads to read I was hoping someone on here could post me the best link on how to do this, I have never done it before but I am pretty handy with a spanner but when I try and google it I only get videos requiring me to take the motor out, which isn't a drama but I am sure there has to be a way that doesn't involve ripping the motor out,( well hopefully anyway) and I believe the valves should be set at 3 thou inlet 4 thou exhaust, is this the way you guys would do it, I need to tune this bike, I know it has carby dramas and is running rich ( after only about 10 hours riding the exhaust pipe is bright blue for about 30cm from the head) but I need to make sure the valves are right before going on with tuning the carby
hopefully cheers in advance
