voltage reg

Hey, ahh just wondering I gotta take my voltage reg to an auto elecos tomoro to get tested and wanted to know if I had to take my bike aswell? Or can I just take the reg down? Cheers luke.

not really much to test on them, they either work or they dont...

if you have a multimeter put it on dc volts and test the battery volts, then start the bike and test again , it should be on about 13vlts or higher on steady revs
