Hey, so this weekend im going to pick up my first pit bike. The guy whose selling it says its a pmx moto 150cc, but i cant seem to find that bike online or anywhere but i have found a thumpstar sm150cc which it kind of looks like, is anyone able to help me identify it and maybe give me some indication whether its good or not?

Cheers for the welcome
Will do that now
Yeah im in WA

Pit bike dealer's bring in all sort's of bike's from o/s and put their own sticker kit's on them
It is just a generic pit bike
They are a bit overpriced compared to one's you can get in the eastern states for the same price.
This is only $150 more than the new retail price of your bike and it would be a lot better bike- DHZ DPRO 16 | PitsterPRO z16HO Engine | Pit Bike | Dirt Bike – Buy Online Australia at DHZ

I'd say that bike you're getting will need a few upgrade's/repair's

I'd be looking at something like this, and maybe upgrade the engine to something bigger later

or this, and get a new carby for it-

a new bikes out of the question as ive only got max $500 to spend.
Do you reckon it matters much that the back brakes dont work on that DHZ? And would that 2010 one have any major problems due to its age? or is that something i shouldnt worry about?
