what is causing this

Hey guys
Other day my spark plug lead lent on the exhaust and burnt half way through the cable.. the bike still goes but today i noticed it like surges in 3rd gear when riding what could be causing this? how much will it cost to fix?

replace your plug lead ansd then try ohter things if that dont work

If it was the lead wouldnt it happen in all gears?

it could be hittin sum fin when your at speed or sumfin like dat ...im not sure

it may not be getting a strong enough spark at high revs you could try going to supercheap or a similar shop and buying a reputable brand single lead from a car and cut it to length much cheaper than buying the same thing from a bike shop

motovert thanks ill try that but why doesnt it do it in 4th?
