YX160 claimed 18HP?

i see new YX160 engines going around at the moment advetise claiming standard putting out 18hp, i dont know if i agree with that? anyone had a lrx160 stocko dyno'd or somthing?

maybe the rated hp at the crank but def not at the wheel...

160 i think will be around 14hp and thats probly too much lol

as i thought..but my semi-modded lifan 150 claimed 17.4hp at rear wheel @ Dyno-Time..

intake and exhausts ported
oko26mm
98$ cams witch im changing in a few days
bigbore klx style DHZ exhaust and changed jets
huge nissan skyline oilcooler
no more then 300$ spent on the engine
spending a hole heap more this weekend see if i can change my figures

17.4 with those mods sounds a bit far fetched
i doubt the standard valves would even allow that much

and if it is true then my 160 i just built has 20hp easy(but it hasnt, i doubt even 16-17hp)... sht load more work than yours..
not trying to say you have a shtter or anything but just sounds too good to be true..

but use the same dyno from now on and it will be good for tuning to see improvements.
